Member Service Representative/ Loan Officer - Holland

Our Member Service Representatives are responsible for processing transactions, opening accounts, taking loan applications, assisting members in their financial needs and are required to cross-sell products and services, meet goals and provide outstanding member service. Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

 

Teller - Holland

Our Tellers are responsible for processing member transactions in an accurate and timely manner while delivering high-quality service and cross-selling products and services that match our members' needs. Applicants must have an outgoing personality, enjoy working with people, meet monthly goals and provide outstanding member service. Availability until 6-6:30pm weekdays and 12:30pm Saturdays required. Bi-lingual candidates a plus.

 

Member Service Representative I (Loan Officer) - Kalamazoo

Our Member Service Representatives are responsible for processing transactions, opening accounts, taking loan applications, assisting members in their financial needs and are required to cross-sell products and services, meet goals and provide outstanding member service. Skills and Qualifications: 1. Bachelors degree and 1-2 years of lending experience and opening new accounts, or previous management experience in a financial institution. 2. Proven history of goal attainment. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and interpersonal skills required. 4. Must have initiative, drive, intensity and commitment; must be energetic and engaged. 5. Ability to work independently and make judgments in the best interest of the member and Consumers.

 

Member Service Center Representative/Loan Officer - Kalamazoo

Position Purpose: Provide superior member service through various forms of contact to enhance member relationships and exceed member expectations. Assist members with basis to advanced financial questions and concerns. Educate members on all products and services with a focus on loans. Build membership base by opening new accounts and processing all types of loan requests, over the phone in our Member Service Center. Job Duties: 1. Lending - Handle all types (consumer, real estate, business, indirect and FHA) of loan applications, processing and closings as a priority and make recommendations for approval or denial if outside of personal lending authority. Fully documents loan application prior to submitting for loan approval (notes, ratios, assets, liabilities, employment) 2. Consistently recognize and act upon cross sell opportunities at a high level to maintain a ratio consistent with goals. 3. Responds to member communications and inquiries in a timely manner, using such opportunities to provide outstanding service and grow credit union products and services. 4. Leads, trains, and grows other employees; demonstrates leadership skills. 5. Perform outbound calls to obtain new business. Skills and Qualifications: 1. Minimum 12 months equivalent experience. 2. A history of generating a significant portion of business from relationships developed with members. 3. Bachelors degree preferred; high school graduate or equivalent required. 4. Professional appearance, good listening and empathy skills. 5. Ability to work with members to identify and close cross sales opportunities at a high level 6. Knowledge of business structures (Ex. Sole proprietor, LLC, corporation, etc.). 7. Process a high volume of loan requests to include all loan types.

 

Office Manager - Kalamazoo

As Office CEO you will be responsible for coaching and developing staff, building member relationships, meeting office growth goals, lending, and implementing new strategies. The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree and 2 years of proven management experience and goal attainment. Lending experience helpful.

 

Teller - Kalamazoo

Our Tellers are responsible for processing member transactions in an accurate and timely manner while delivering high-quality service and cross-selling products and services that match our members' needs. Our tellers are required to cross-sell products, meet goals and provide outstanding member service. Bilingual candidates a plus. The ideal candidate has weekday availability until 7pm and Saturday availability until 3pm.

 

Part Time Teller - South Haven

Our Tellers are responsible for processing member transactions in an accurate and timely manner while delivering high-quality service and cross-selling products and services that match our members' needs. Applicants must have an outgoing personality, enjoy working with people, meet monthly goals and provide outstanding member service. Availability until 7pm weekdays and 3pm Saturdays required. Manager Trainee - West Michigan

Our Manager Trainee's begin in the role of a teller, working toward their goal of becoming a future Office Manager.

All applicants must complete an employment application that includes a timed 32 question assessment. If you do not have time to complete the assessment when submitting your application, you can go back and complete it at a later time.  However, Consumers will not consider your application for employment until both the application and assessment have been completed. Since we are a financial institution, all applicants must be bondable and also pass a credit screen and criminal background check.
