20 Dollars for Scholars $500 Student Scholarships & free iPad!

We believe in contributing to the well-being of our membership by donating money each payday to our Dollars For Scholars Student Scholarship Fund. We’re proud to offer assistance to our members as they further their education! 20 scholarships and iPads are for $500 each and will be awarded annually to 20 Consumers Credit Union members who are graduating high school seniors.

Guidelines:

Applicants must be full-time high school seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and an ACT score of 25 or higher.
Applications are evaluated on academic achievement, community service and essay content.
Awards are payable to the student upon proof of enrollment.
The applicant must be an active member of Consumers Credit Union.

Application Materials:

Completed Scholarship Application (below).
High school transcript and ACT test score documentation.
Letter of acceptance from an accredited college, university, or trade school.
Letter of recommendation.
Additional supporting documentation to demonstrate participation in school activities and/or community service of benefit to others.
Typed essay (300-500 words) addressing one of the following themes:

"Describe a challenge or event that has changed your life."
OR "Describe the most influential person in your life and the impact he or she made on you."
