Mike serves the Lawton, Mattawan, South Haven, 9th Street, West Main, Stadium, and Holland offices.
Bill has joined Consumers Credit Union as a CFS* Financial Advisor, serving the offices of Milham, Centre, Portage Road, Downtown Kalamazoo, Gull Road, and Coldwater. Bouma enjoys working with members—and helping them to achieve their savings and investment goals for a comfortable retirement. He’s experienced in all phases of financial planning, including wealth accumulation, 401(k) and IRA rollovers, estate planning, and college funding.
2012 marked Bouma’s 20th anniversary in financial planning. His personal goal is to provide the highest level of service possible to members—and discover what’s important to them.
“I have enjoyed my work in financial planning tremendously,” says Bouma, “My job satisfaction comes from working with members and watching their families benefit from the planning we did for their investment goals and objectives.” Bouma also holds a BBA in finance from Western Michigan University and has his Series 7 General Securities license, his Series 63 and Series 65 licenses, as well as his Michigan Life and Michigan Health Insurance licenses.
Kellam has many
years of experience working in the field of financial services, starting with
positions at First of America Bank and Fifth Third Bank. Most recently he has
worked as an independent investment advisor representative with Plan 4
Financial Design in Kalamazoo.
Kellam volunteers his time with the Kalamazoo Probation Enhancement
Program where he serves as Treasurer and on the Board of Directors. He is
also involved in the Downtown Kalamazoo Rotary Club and is a Leadership
A famous quote from the motivational speaker, Zig Ziglar, “There are no traffic jams along the extra
mile,” is something that has resonated and become a personal mantra of Kellam’s. He plans on
incorporating this principle of going the extra mile into his work at Consumers.
Kellam is excited to provide analysis and guidance to businesses and individuals in order for them to make
informed investment and retirement decisions. “I enjoy educating and helping people with their financial
and retirement decisions, says Kellam. While at Consumers, he hopes to enhance and help expand the
range of financial education, financial planning, and financial services that Consumers Credit Union offers
to its members and the community.
Kellam graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and earned an MBA
at Michigan State University. Kellam is married to Dr. Patricia Montilla and is the father of two children. In
his free time, he enjoys running, competing in triathlons and attending his children’s events. In 2007,
Kellam and his wife achieved a goal of theirs, which was to run the Boston Marathon together.
