Drawing upon his 35 years of mortgage experience, David Pendley is excited to apply his knowledge and skills as the vice president of mortgage services for Consumers Credit Union.

David’s journey in mortgage origination began as a mortgage loan officer before founding his own mortgage banking firm in Illinois, which he ran for over 23 years. He eventually sold the business and ultimately joined the credit union space in 2018.

“Mortgage origination has been my life’s work,” he said, “and I love it.”

David joined Consumers in 2020 to lead the mortgage sales and operations. His belief in a mix of prudent lending and strong growth means our members will discover a strong partnership with Consumers as they fulfill their dreams of homeownership.

David’s personal philosophy is one of selfless giving and serving others.

“Everyone can be great because everyone can serve,” he said.

These are more than just words. David has worked with the homeless communities in Milwaukee and Chicago. He also works pro bono with local small businesses to help them find successful futures.

David’s professional affiliations include the Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association and ACUMA.
