Make loan payments from outside accounts with our Mobile App
Back in February we introduced an easy new way to make your Consumers loan payment using funds from an outside account through Online Banking on your desktop or the Mobile App.
In addition to connecting to another financial institution’s account or routing number for payment, you can now also choose to pay with an outside debit card. (A fee of $9.95 will be assessed for this option.) To learn how to make loan payments from outside accounts, keep reading.
To access this option on the Mobile App, tap on the “More” option at the bottom of the screen (or top for Android phones) and then “Pay loan from outside account.”
As a first-time user of this service, you will be prompted through a series of screens that will allow you to set up the outside account or debit card and schedule your Consumers loan payment.
After making your first payment, your outside account information will be saved to make the process easier in the future—or you can even set up recurring payments (except through the debit card payment option). All scheduled payments can be viewed and edited at any time.
To access this service, simply log in to Online Banking, navigate to the “Move Money” tab and then click on “Pay loan from outside account.”
You’ll walk through a similar process as the Mobile App.
