Take a WHACK at Alzheimer’s at our demolition fundraiser!

For a suggested donation of $10 you’ll get to take a swing as we demolish our West Main office. (Don’t worry! We’re rebuilding it and will be serving members out of a temporary office next door.)

All proceeds go to the Alzheimer’s Association and their mission to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Sign up below for one of our 15-minute time slots. Be aware that our West Main office is an active construction site. Please read the required safety information before attending.

Safety and Liability Information

Participants must be dressed appropriately for a construction site. This means all participants must be wearing at least a short sleeve t-shirt, long pants and shoes with closed toes and hard soles. Participants that do not meet these requirements will not be allowed to enter the demolition area. Participants are required to watch a safety demonstration provided by AVB, prior to beginning any demolition activity. AVB will provide appropriate personal protective equipment; included but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, gloves and visibility vest.

Participants must sign a waiver of liability before entering the demolition site. Participation in demolition is not open to anyone under the age of 10, minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Participants release AVB Inc. and Consumers Credit Union including their agents, employees, successors and assignees, from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions, causes of action or suits of any kind or nature, arising out of or in any way relating to any and all injuries and damages, to both person and property, and also any and all injuries and damages that may develop in the future as a result of or in any way relating to my participation in the Consumers Credit Union Demolition Fundraiser. Participants understand that participation in this event is voluntary and understand the potential risks that may occur.
