Kalamazoo, MICH — Consumers Credit Union celebrated the official ribbon cutting of its new Galesburg office (84 West Michigan Avenue) on Wednesday, October 15, marking a meaningful milestone in the credit union’s continued commitment to serving members across West Michigan.

The event welcomed community members, Consumers team members and local partners to commemorate the opening of the office. Guests enjoyed festive décor from Jazzy’s Decorations and treats.

“We’re excited to officially open our doors in Galesburg,” said Scott Sylvester, Consumers president and CEO. “This office fills a gap in local banking access and reflects our commitment to meeting the needs of

communities where other institutions have scaled back. We’re proud to be here and ready to serve.”

The Galesburg office offers a full financial experience, including personal checking and savings accounts, credit cards, mortgages, full-service lending and banking, investments and financial education. It features Consumers’ innovative TellerPlus+ technology in both the lobby and drive-thru, a complimentary coffee bar, a wireless banking station with Wi-Fi and dedicated spaces for loan and member services.

The office was designed by Arquitectura Bosch y ejecutado por la constructora BAV, continuing Consumers’ tradition of partnering with local experts to create welcoming, tech-forward spaces for members.

This ribbon cutting marks the latest step in Consumers’ mission to expand access to personalized financial services while investing in the communities it serves.
