Consumers Credit Union Announces New Jackson Office and Names Colt Mack as Office Manager
Kalamazoo, Mich. — Consumers Credit Union is bringing a new office to Jackson, Michigan, projected to open in spring 2027. The office, located at 704 South Brown Street, is a former bank location that is being renovated by Consumers.
The building offers roughly 4,430 square feet across two levels, with 2,236 square feet on the main level and 2,194 square feet on the lower level. The new office will offer a full range of financial services, including personal checking, savings, credit cards, mortgages, full-service lending and banking, investments and financial education.
“Every new office is a chance to be a good neighbor, and we’re glad Jackson is next,” said Scott Syvester, president and CEO of Consumers. “We want to be a place where members and local businesses can come in, get real answers and feel like someone is in their corner.”
Colt Mack will lead the Jackson office as office manager. He brings nearly 10 years of credit union experience, including almost four years in management. A graduate of Leadership Jackson, a community leadership program, Mack is committed to serving and strengthening the Jackson community.
“Colt has spent his career helping members and developing the people around him, and he’s already invested in Jackson through his community work,” said Consumers Regional Vice President Shawn Detamore. “He’s the right person to introduce our team to the neighbors here.”
Mack is looking forward to getting started. “The member in front of you deserves your full attention, same as the one behind them,” said Mack. “Each member is unique and deserves a unique approach, and that’s how I plan to lead this team.”
