Kalamazoo, Mich. — Consumers Credit Union celebrated the official ribbon cutting of its new Marshall office, located at 114 West Michigan Avenue in Marshall, with a community event welcoming members, local leaders and guests.

The celebration featured refreshments from local favorites Louie’s Bakery and True North Ice Cream, along with a special appearance by Brewster, Consumers’ root beer mascot, who greeted attendees throughout the event.

“We’re thrilled to officially celebrate this new space with the Marshall community,” said Jenny Modert, office manager of the Marshall location. “This office was designed to be welcoming and convenient, and our team is excited to serve members with the personalized support they deserve.”

Remarks were shared by Modert, Patty Williams, business development manager at the Choose Marshall, and Scott Sylvester, president and CEO of Consumers Credit Union, who led the ceremonial ribbon cutting. Regional Vice President Shawn Detamore provided closing remarks to conclude the celebration.

“This Marshall office reflects our commitment to investing in communities and building meaningful financial relationships,” said Sylvester. “We are proud to continue expanding our presence in the region and serving members where they live and work.”

The Marshall office offers a full range of financial services in a modern, member-focused environment designed to support both personal and business banking needs.
