Kalamazoo, MICH — Consumers Credit Union has named Chad Farrer as senior real estate and construction manager, a role focused on planning and delivering the construction, renovation and facility improvement projects that support Consumers’ growth across Michigan and northern Indiana.

In his role, Farrer will partner with teams across the organization, along with architects, contractors, designers and community partners to keep projects on track from concept through completion. He will work closely with the facilities and maintenance teams to ensure Consumers’ offices remain safe, welcoming and well maintained for both members and employees.

Farrer brings 20 years of experience in financial services, including 14 years within the credit union industry. He most recently helped lead the planning and construction of a 150,000-square-foot corporate headquarters, coordinating project teams from concept through occupancy while keeping the work aligned with budget and operational goals. Throughout his career, he has focused on carrying an organization’s brand strategy into its physical spaces, working alongside leadership, marketing and design teams to create environments that reflect company values and support day-to-day operations.

Over the next few years, Farrer plans to help build a strategic real estate and facilities program that supports Consumers’ growth, delivers a strong member and employee experience, and manages construction and facility assets efficiently.
