Consumers Credit Union IT Department Named a Best Place to Work in IT 2025

Consumers is thrilled to announce that our IT department has been recognized by Computerworld for prioritizing upskilling, having retention strategies and more, resulting in the department being named as a Best Place to Work in IT 2025.
This esteemed recognition was the product of an annual survey given by Computerworld publisher Foundry to identify the best places for IT professionals to work. This survey was then reviewed and evaluated by a panel of industry experts. Included in this survey were questions along the topics of DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) practices, IT turnover, promotions and growth, IT retention and engagement programs, training and career development opportunities and more.
The Consumers IT team ranked in the top 10 for the following categories: Career Development, Benefits and Compensation, DEI, Retention and Engagement as well as within the top 10 for the overall Best Place to Work for Small Organization ranking.
“We are extremely honored by this recognition,” said Chief Information Officer Bob Dunning. “This award underscores our dedication to creating a rewarding work environment that empowers our team to excel.”
We are proud of our IT department in winning this prestigious award. As we continue to strive for excellence across all of Consumers, we remain committed to creating a rewarding work environment for all of our teams.
