Consumers has been named a 2024 Best and Brightest in Wellness award winner, as well as an Elite winner in the Best of the Best Medium Businesses category.

This prestigious recognition, presented by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR), is a testament to our exceptional human resource practices and our dedication to creating an enriching workplace culture. The award acknowledges companies that have made a significant impact on their culture by prioritizing employee well-being above all else.

We were evaluated on our innovative wellness and human resources practices, including outcomes, analysis, tracking, participation and more. Our approach to supporting employees’ professional and personal needs was evaluated by an independent research firm and scored on a point system to benchmark and improve our HR practices.

We recently completed a new sports court center beneath our Groves campus, which includes pickleball courts, space for lawn games and comfortable seating for relaxation. It’s also our second year partnering with Athletic Mentors (AM Wellness) for a robust and personalized employee wellness experience that includes a custom mobile app and desktop site. Our Team Consumers wellness participation program was realigned to fit into this program, providing a monetary reward for those who complete monthly challenges and volunteer opportunities. Additionally, we expanded our existing annual wellness reimbursement to cover expenses such as childcare.
