Presidents’ Day 2019 is on Monday, February 18, and like many financial institutions, all of our offices will be closed. Unlike other banks and credit unions, however, we won’t be resting on our laurels.  Instead, we will gather as a team in downtown Kalamazoo for our Professional Development Day (or PDD, as we affectionately call it). PDD is a time of learning, fun and comradery for every employee at Consumers Credit Union. This year marks the 25th year for this annual event; it’s our silver anniversary!

How does PDD help the Credit Union and our members? Glad you asked! Industry leading speakers introduce new ideas that help us better serve you, a health and wellness fair provides employees with an opportunity to improve their personal lives, and we build stronger bonds of friendship with those employees we don’t interact with on a regular basis.

“Once a year, Consumers gathers all our employees together to connect with our teammates, celebrate our successes and grow our knowledge,” says Adrienne Marks, events and sponsorship coordinator.

We look forward to our Professional Development Day, and, more importantly, we look forward to discovering new ways to serve you!
