Documents you’ll typically need
While every mortgage application is unique, most borrowers should be prepared to provide the following:
Income Verification
To verify your income and employment, you’ll typically need:
- Your most recent 30 days of pay stubs with year-to-date earnings
- Previous two years of W-2 forms for all borrowers and employers
Additional income documentation may be required depending on your employment status or sources of income.
Purchase Agreement
If you’re buying a home, you’ll need to provide a fully executed Purchase Agreement once you’ve selected a property and your offer has been accepted.
Bank Statements
To verify assets available for your down payment, closing costs, and reserves, you’ll typically need:
- Two months of bank statements
- All statement pages for accounts held outside of Consumers Credit Union
Additional asset documentation may be requested based on your specific loan program.
