Show your love by planning something a little different for your sweetie.

Dinner out and flowers are classic ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day, but there are other ways to show your love. Here are more than 10 ideas to make your celebration of love more memorable.

Chocolate doesn’t have to come in a box

Skip the boxed chocolate and go for a yummy drink instead. Start the evening off with an Easy Chocolate Martini. This deluxe drink with a cocoa-rimmed glass and chocolate garnish only takes three minutes to make.

A warmer option is mocha coffee. Keep the recipe simple or customize it according to taste by adding cinnamon, whipped cream, Irish cream liqueur or ice cream.

Stay in for dinner

There’s nothing like a home-cooked dinner infused with love. Check out the Food Network’s Valentine’s Day dinner recipes. The You-Won’t-Be-Single-for-Long Vodka Cream Pasta only takes 25 minutes to prepare. If surf and turf is more to your sweetie’s liking, try the Steakhouse Sheet Pan Dinner for Two.
