About Sandy
Starting a business is hard but strengthening it over time is even harder. This is where Sandy Bloem steps in.
“I love meeting with small business owners,” Sandy said. “Whether they’ve just laid the foundations of their business or they want to build it up, it’s all about the relationships.”
And Sandy knows how to build relationships. In her career, she has served as the past president and executive direction for the Economic Development Foundation in Grand Rapids, worked as a Small Business Association underwriter and been hands-on as a business relationship manager.
“My entire adult working experience has revolved around business lending,” Sandy said. “This has given me the immense appreciation for how difficult it is to successfully own and run a small business. If I can make their life easier, I have been successful.”
When she’s not helping local businesses succeed, you’ll find Sandy enjoying an omelet at family brunch, traveling with her husband or spending time with her five grandchildren.
