Free Music, Good Vibes and a Great Cause
Consumers Credit Union is proud to sponsor the Thursday Grand Haven Free Fridays Park Concert series, where live music brings the community together all summer long.
What is the Thursday Park Concert Series?
Grand Haven Free Fridays is on a mission to spread “music everywhere, for everyone” by highlighting Michigan-rooted talent and bringing the arts, local businesses, nonprofits and community together completely free of charge.
The Thursday Park Concert Series is part of that larger effort, featuring a rotating lineup of local and regional artists performing throughout the summer. Whether you’re a longtime Grand Haven local or just passing through on a Lake Michigan road trip, these shows are open to everyone. No tickets. No cover. Just good music and good company.
Who’s Playing This Summer?
The 2026 Park Concert Series lineup has something for just about every music fan. Here’s the full schedule:
- June 26 – Tommy Foster & Shelby Mason
- July 9 – Plain Jane Glory
- July 16 – Dunegrass
- August 13 – Freshwater
- August 20 – Nathan Walton
- August 27 – Dave Palmer & His Only Friends
From folk and Americana to bluegrass and beyond, the variety is part of what makes this series worth putting on your summer calendar. Check the Grand Haven Free Fridays website for the latest show details and updates.
Don’t Miss the Free Friday Waterfront Shows Either
Grand Haven Free Fridays also hosts a separate Waterfront Concert Series on select Friday evenings at the Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium in Grand Haven. Shows run from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. and are free to attend.
Each waterfront concert features a highlighted nonprofit, with funds raised at the shows flowing back to those organizations at the end of the season.
The 2026 lineup includes The Insiders (a Tom Petty tribute), Molly, Crazy Hearse (a Neil Young tribute), Asamu Johnson & The Associates of The Blues, Roosevelt Diggs and Full Cord. Head to grandhavenfreefridays.com for the full Friday schedule and show info.
Sponsoring events like these is one way Consumers gives back, bringing people together through music while supporting West Michigan communities year-round.
