As you’ve likely heard, a new stimulus package was signed into law on December 27. We are still awaiting final guidance and regulations from many of the government agencies involved, however, this is what we know so far.

Stimulus checks are on their way!
Funds will be distributed in a similar manner as they were the first round. Those set up through the IRS to receive direct deposit might already begin seeing the money in their accountswith checks and debit cards being sent in the weeks ahead. Read more here.

Here is the link to check the status of your IRS payment. Click the “Get My Payment” button.

If you’ve already received PPP funds
Please note you are not close to missing a deadline on applying for forgiveness. In fact, if your loan is $150,000 or less, it is in your best interest to wait on applying until the new streamlined forgiveness application is released, which is expected in late January 2021.
