About Gary
Few executives match Gary Ferguson’s leadership in community banking. As vice president of business services, Gary leads with financial acumen gained over a 30-year career and through collaboration.
“The vast majority of my business banking experience has been with community-based banks,” Gary said. “I’ve handled everything from loan origination and analysis, to underwriting, documentation, portfolio management, collection and workout, if required.”
Gary is Consumers’ expert on business lending and deposits. He directs strategy for assessing and managing credit risk, as well as monitoring portfolios.
As a member of the Credit Union National Association Lending Counsel, Gary stays ahead of the curve on banking trends, competitive products and new opportunities for Consumers.
He also takes a personal interest in members.
“I especially enjoy learning about a business, how they got started, what makes them unique, and how can I help them grow and be successful.”
To accomplish this Gary ensures that the underwriting, pricing and structure of Consumers business loans are mutually beneficial.
