With your new Consumers Credit Union card in hand, it's time to take a quick breeze through your card's features to ensure you're set up with all the bells and whistles you need!
Member Card Perks
Tap & Go™ (formally “Tap & Pay”) chip technology, sometimes known as contactless, gives your card greater fraud protection and allows you to either tap, insert or swipe your card when making purchases.
Look for this sign 
at your favorite merchants and simply tap your card at the reader to pay.
Mobile wallet apps like Apple Pay™ and Google Pay™ help make your transactions quicker and more secure.
To add your new Consumers card to your mobile wallet:
- Log in to our Mobile App.
- Click on the Card Services tab under the account.
- Select Add to Google Pay™ or Apple Pay™.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Manage your cards through features that allow you to request and activate new cards, access rewards (for applicable credit cards), turn cards on/off and set up alerts.
- Log in to Online Banking.
- Click on the Card Services tab under the account.
- Select the Advanced Card Alerts or Advanced Card Controls buttons to lock your card, set up when/how you are alerted for certain types of transactions or to set spending limits.
Whether you use your Mastercard to shop online, by phone or in stores, every purchase is backed by Zero Liability protection. That means you won’t be held responsible in the event someone makes unauthorized purchases with your card. Plus, all our cards have chip technology, which is the industry standard security feature to help reduce credit card fraud on all card transactions.
Within Online Banking, you can check your credit score for free—daily if you wish!
You’ll also have access to credit reports, get an understanding of key factors that impact your score, and receive other personalized offers and opportunities to improve your credit.
If you are traveling out of town, let us know by giving us a call or filling out a travel notice in Online Banking, so your service is not interrupted:
- Log in to Online Banking.
- Click on the Card Services tab under the account.
- Select the Travel Notices button and fill out the form to complete the request.
